82.04% of Applicants Accepted to New Mexico Colleges in 2022-2023 Admission

The 2023 average acceptance rate of New Mexico colleges is 82.04% and the admission yield is 25.63%. A total of 31,967 applicants have applied to New Mexicocolleges (four-years) and 26,227 have accepted to admit into one or more schools. Finally, 6,723 students out of the accepted students have enrolled into one of the accepted colleges.

For New Mexico college admission, the total number of applicants increased by 5,083 (18.91%) compared to last year, from 26,884 applicants. The number of students enrolled in first year increased by 818, which is more than 13.85% last year.

New Mexico colleges' acceptance rate increased by 7.60% compared to last year, which means easier to get into New Mexico colleges. The yield decreased by 3.87%.

Among New Mexico colleges, Eastern New Mexico University-Main Campus has the lowest acceptance rate of 27.55% with 472 accepted students out of 1,713 applicants. New Mexico State University-Main Campus has the most number of applicants of 15,860 and University of New Mexico-Main Campus has the most number of first-year enrolled students of 3,509.
