For the academic year 2022-23, W & M's acceptance rate is 33.50% and the yield (also known as enrollment rate) is 27.10%. 6,841 men and 11,246 women applied to W & M and 2,661 men and 3,398 women students were accepted.

SAT and ACT Score Distribution

In 2023, 860 students (52% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 300 students (18%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees at W & M.
The median SAT score is 1,460 with 730 SAT EBRW and 730 SAT Math median scores. The 75th percentile SAT score of EBRW (Evidence-Based Reading / Writing) is 750 and the 25th percentile is 695. The SAT Math 75th percentile score is 770 and 25th percentile is 680 .

It requires to submit High School GPA, High School Record (or Transcript), Completion of College Preparatory Program, Recommendations, and Personal statement or essay to its applicants.
The SAT and ACT test score is not reqired, but considered in admission process at W & M. The english proficiency test is not reqired, but considered.
