For the academic year 2022-23, UF's acceptance rate is 23.35% and the yield (also known as enrollment rate) is 43.92%. 28,248 men and 36,225 women applied to UF and 6,358 men and 8,696 women students were accepted.

SAT and ACT Score Distribution

In 2023, 5,358 students (81% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 2,729 students (41%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees at UF.
The median SAT score is 1,390 with 690 SAT EBRW and 700 SAT Math median scores. The 75th percentile SAT score of EBRW (Evidence-Based Reading / Writing) is 730 and the 25th percentile is 650. The SAT Math 75th percentile score is 760 and 25th percentile is 650 .
