65.39% of Applicants Accepted to Michigan Colleges in 2022-2023 Admission

The 2023 average acceptance rate of Michigan colleges is 65.39% and the admission yield is 20.64%. A total of 361,964 applicants have applied to Michigancolleges (four-years) and 236,685 have accepted to admit into one or more schools. Finally, 48,863 students out of the accepted students have enrolled into one of the accepted colleges.

For Michigan college admission, the total number of applicants increased by 29,791 (8.97%) compared to last year, from 332,173 applicants. The number of students enrolled in first year increased by 561, which is more than 1.16% last year.

Michigan colleges' acceptance rate decreased by 0.04% compared to last year, which means harder to get into Michigan colleges. The yield decreased by 1.58%.

Among Michigan colleges, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor has the lowest acceptance rate of 17.69% with 14,914 accepted students out of 84,289 applicants. University of Michigan-Ann Arbor has the most number of applicants of 84,289 and Michigan State University has the most number of first-year enrolled students of 9,829.
